Tracing Tea Education Program

I. MISSION STATEMENT

The ‘Tracing Tea Education Program seeks to bring students from around the world together.  Through collaboration with teachers from the 18 different countries along the ‘Tracing Tea’ route, the program will give a fresh insight into the history, geography and wider social aspects of these areas in a truly multimedia way. Through print, audio, visual and pen-pal links, students will engage with people and places in an educated and enlightened manner.

II. LOGISTICS

The ‘Tracing Tea Education Program is a collaboration between the Krause Center for Innovation, Foothill College and Maximum Exposure Productions (MEP). The project is being pioneered at Graham Middle School, Mountain View.   A pen-pal system will be established between various countries and Graham Middle School

This Program is multimedia in the sense that it is built from multiple sources of information of which much of it is primary source material.  The photos, information, stories and video is from the fields where it happened in history.
